Salam brother Zulkifli,
My name is Abdul-Samad, currently a full-time student of INCIEF’s CIFP programme in Malaysia. (For more information about INCEIF, please visit http://www.inceif.org)
I would like to thank you for the article you wrote on the BBA judgement by Wahab Patail J. My colleagues and I are currently going through the various types of sales in Islamic Finance, with particular focus on BBA naturally as a result of the recent decision. I wonder if you know – the Bar Council in Malaysia has recently organised a National Symposium to discuss this recent legal development (amongst other things). As far as I am aware, the papers presented during the symposium have yet to be published and made available for public perusal. I suggest you look out for them as and when they are available.
I accidentally discovered this blog of yours when searching for BBA related reading material, and I must say that I am thus far very impressed with it.
All the best with your PhD, and may Allah afford you His divine protection always.
Wassallam,
Abdul-Samad bin Saadi

As-salamu’alaykum Bro. Zulkifli
My apologies for not reading ABOUT ME first before sending you a COMMENT in another part of your blog.
I wrote in that COMMENT:
As-salamu’alaykum Dr. Zulkifli
I came across the presentation transcript oF your online paper CORPORATE GOVERNANCE FROM WESTERN AND ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE on the internet and would like to cite it in an article I am intending to send to a journal in mid August 2009.
May I know whether whether the said paper has been published?
If it has, I would appreciate very much if you could give me the details of the journal in which your paper was published and its date and whatever other relevant details necessary in footnote citation.
I look forward to hear from you soonest possible.
Thanking you in advance.
Was-salam
